How GRAVITY attracts fire?
In our everyday life, we use fire in different types of work, like cooking food, boiling anything, lighter or to burn different materials. But, Ever you wondered that "Do gravity attracts FIRE or not"? Whenever and wherever fire glows, the flame moves upwards against Gravity. But this does not confirm that fire is not attracted by gravity. There are several other factors also which affects it which we are going to discuss here:-
Before discussing that we should know as the temperature of any object is increasing it leads to flow of air molecules upwards that is flowing beside that particular object.
As the title represents Do gravity attracts FIRE?
The answer is yes, Fire attracts gravity. The second question that arises in our mind is that it attracts then it should have to move down instead of upwards. But the fire that we see is moving upwards because the flame [ heat] heated the surrounding, which helps in the flow of fire upwards.
Why do not fire move on upwards continuously?
This is because it depends on the thermal property. The more the heat the more it will heat it surrounding and the more will suction create.
What happens in Microgravity or SPACE?
In Space or microgravity, there is a very less possibility to catch fire. As we know the main factor responsible for Fire is Oxygen; and there is no sign & symbol of oxygen in space which leads to approximately no chance of fire.
BUT,
there is a possibility of fire, which we see when there is a crash in space or spacecraft. Whenever any accident happens in space, this did not take more time to become major havoc.
