As we all know the blood of all Human Beings in this world is RED and this is due to presence of Hemoglobin [R.B.C] in their blood, which is responsible for high affinity of Oxygen. We can respire oxygen because of presence of Hemoglobin in our blood.
But, can you imagine a person having green blood. YES, GREEN BLOOD.
It is a congenital disease that passes from one gene to another. In this disease the sulphur atoms does not allow the iron to bind with oxygen. It is a very rare case which are found in very less number of people in the whole world.
EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS ?
In the Human body , the haemoglobin that attracts oxygen started attracting every other gases that contains sulphur atom .Whenever sulphide ions combine with iron ions, the colour of blood changed to GREEN
SYMPTOMS:-
In such type of disease, a person starts having discoloration of blood from red to blue or green. This discoloration is known as CYANOSIS. It can be caused when the percentage of deoxyhemoglobin is greater than 5[grams]%, methemoglobin greater than 1.5[grams]% and Sulfehemoglobin more than 0.5[grams]%.
It is caused by consuming any sulphur containing materials or exposure to sulfur compounds
TREATMENT:-
It is a very hazardous disease. It can be treated by replacing ERYTHROCYTE
